Noah Van Sciver on a subject near and dear to all of our hearts.

A little comic from Noah Van Sciver. The funny thing is that it very apt but not the entirety of why comicon is great. However, going to cons as long as I have con really is a double edge sword both brilliant and brilliant depressing. To be honest, con enjoyment is all about you, your attitude, and what you are hoping to achieve out of it. Also I would like to say I have never cosplayed. I have always wanted to but get frightened at the idea of not looking authentic because I believe you should look authentic if you’re going to cosplay. This being said I do not believe that every girl dresses in cosplay has low self esteem- in fact, most of the girls I know are rocking awesome chicks, who are rocking awesome geeks, and work hard on their costumes and looking good in them. So, seriously why all the slut shaming when it comes to cosplay? Why can’t women, even women in Wonder Woman costumes, be viewed as happy, healthy members of the geek society?  Oh you have boobs and are proud of your body you must have low self esteem. Siiggghhhh. Still this comic is funny so we will focus on that.
